"Hard for me to give less than 5 stars to any Pappadeaux, but there were some issues with the food that never should have happened. We did enjoy ourselves and Princess at the bar was great. The service at the Pappas chains of restaurants is always great. This location is connected to a convention center, so the prices are higher and the menu is limited. I still expected the food to be as perfect as it always is at any other location. We will likely return, but have a little lower expectations. Oh! The alligator was the best I have ever had!"

"Great day at Pappas’ near Bay Area boulevard in Houston. Mahi mahi was delicious as well as the fried shrimp, Cajun chicken and green salad. Had a new waitress under training who did a pretty good job too!"

"Food was decent. As far as service, we waited almost an hour just to get our drinks. The waitress told us the biscuits would be just a minute. After 30 minutes or more, she came back and stated that they ran through the biscuits because “they only bake 12 at a time”. That obviously was a lie, because she came back with 2 baskets of about 10 a piece."
