"On April 21, 2022 we went for comedy night at “Catch A Rising Star” and made a reservation at the restaurant beforehand. The hostess was very professional and very pleasant. Our server Maria was wonderful and was attentive and catered to all our needs. The food was delicious and well prepared. I had the ribeye which was tender and juicy. My husband had the salmon which he enjoyed as well. Can’t wait to go back. Thank You, June Mitch!"

"This was our second time dining here. The fish is the best we have ever had. It is fresh and perfectly prepared. We had Icelandic cod, blackened Florida mahi mahi, grilled shrimp and mixed grill (barramundi and steelhead salmon). The vegetables were also perfect (broccoli, Brussel sprouts, baked sweet potato). Be sure and bring your own wine or beer (no corkage) as they do not serve alcohol but welcome guests bringing it in. The atmosphere is casual-nice."

"The place was very crowded when I arrived, but my party and I sat very fast. The restaurant had a nice ambience. There were seating, larger family tables and private rooms for other types of meetings. The hostess and waiting staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The food was very good and the desserts were delicious and it was decently expensive. I would definitely recommend it for a nice evening"

"My husband and I are opening up a Restaurant here in. Palmer Square. Today we stopped in to check out the site we will be leasing and we grab lunch here at the sandwich and soup shop. Very nice staff and the food was excellent and fresh!!We had the wedding soup and an amazing steak salad. Delish!!! We will be frequenting this place often! "We thought the food was pricey. Service was slow, kitchen forgot one meal and even drinks took a while to get to the table. Food is not bad, but I'm sure we could get a better value for our money somewhere else..."
