"The owner/chef is an incredibly interesting man, he has a lot of stories and is friendly. The food is also very good and you can tell he truly has a passion for cooking (we had the alfredo, mare, ravioli and spaghetti pastas! He probably will remember us). The place itself is definitely a hole in the wall and may not look like the biggest/fanciest place, but that's how we knew it'd be good. Don't be put off by the ambience. Will definitely come here again when we visit Toronto!"

"We went there while visiting Toronto. The manager and waiter offered an excellent service. My boyfriend took oysters. They were a little bit small but they were good. I took a ceasar salad. My boyfriend then took a rack of lamb and I took musset. Everything was very tasteful. Even if there was no kid's menu, they made a small plate of pasta for my 2 year-old. I will come back for sure!"

"Server and staff was friendly but timing was very off. Food arrived cold. Coffee arrived late and and cold. Assuming they were short staffed, but it wasn’t busy at the time. Food was ok. Atmosphere was nice and jazz band was a lovely touch."

"Food and service were good. I ordered paella and the others ordered sirloin steak and sushi or just steak. Very busy and there is very little parking even though we arrived at 5:30 pm. Still worth the visit. We sat on the patio."

"We went to Evoo to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. It was a good choice. We were there on a Monday and the place was 3/4 full most of the night. Every aspect of our dining experience was top rate. Lovely, friendly service throughout the night. Dishes arrived at a nice pace.The portions were quite substantial. The plates were nicely designed with both of our fish dishes stacked on top of a variety of vegetables. Although an expensive restaurant, it wasn't in any way too much (in relationship to our top restaurants in Toronto).Highly recommended for a special meal."
