"Order the pasta, but avoid the lobster. Apparently lobsters are as popular in St John’s as they are in Vancouver — I just wish I knew that before I ordered the lobster pasta. The pasta itself was ridiculously delicious, and I have to say that I enjoyed it much more than the lobster."

"I loved this joint it's menu, variety of items, the excellent friendly service, and the fun decor. I visited for brunch with a local and was surprised it was available on a weekday! The menu had smaller items, vegetarian options, traditional eggs, and seafood. It was a bright and friendly. The location on Water street was central to many of the shops and sites downtown."

"Little pub/bar on George Street. 5 for $25 beer or Seltzer are a lot. Only the problem is if you sit on the terrace, you get the music of Green Sleeves as well as martini bar over the street and the street stage directly on the street. It was very annoying to hear 3 competing different songs at once. We had to go because it was too hard on the head. Maybe you'll be fine when you sit inside."

"Enjoyed a sub for lunch. The food is fast and tastes fine. Lots of selection here and for the most part the food is half healthy. Don't be alone after pm as it gets a tad rowdy outside after that time"

"This is VERY high end establishment, so be warned. We had been eating out all day, and were only in the mood for appetizers. We ordered a couple that sounded tasty, and had some drinks. They do have a terrific range of Scotches, and so...we did well there. Their shrimp appy was quite tasty and we enjoyed it. We saw the local oysters and ordered those, and that's where we got quite disappointed. There were 4, but they were quite small, and it's hard to get a sense of flavour when they are so tiny. Not every region generates giant oysters, so if they aren't big out here, they should include more in the appetizer."
