"Ok we usually go to the Fishbonz in Rolling Hills Plaza in Torrance, but we were in the Costa Mesa area and came to the location here. The food is awesome like at the Torrance location but they do have a greater variety of food choices and they serve ????and ????! This location is larger and very nice. They have an upstairs seating section. We will be back! :"

"I looked at the Open Table list of restaurants for a place for our small (6 people) group to dine and found Skosh Monahan 's, an Irish pub with a 4.2 rating. I checked out the menu and it looked like a great place for us. All of the reviews I read mentioned the great food, especially the steaks. The six of us all had different dishes, ranging from salads to a rib eye (I had the rib eye). Not a single one of us enjoyed our meal. Two sent their meals back, my steak was tough and the sauce was bland. One person ordered a full rack of ribs, planning to bring half of it home. She ate three ribs and left the rest. The waitress (who was very good) apologized for the new chef, but no accommodation was offered. Can 't recommend this place."

"Had a nice lunch on Monday. Overall, it is a wonderful place with a fantastic seafood menu and fast, attentive service. We ordered several appetizers and a duck. The following photos show the shared parts for the Clam Chowder and Cioppino, which they did helpful for us without asking us. As you can see, the shared shares are also quite violent! Highlights: cream, tasteful Clam Chowder served with mussels in the bowls. The soup came out hot, which was also perfect for warm summer weather. Supplementary sourdough bread with whipped butter. We asked for a second portion because it was so good! It was soft and damp inside with a salty, crisp, buttery crust on top. Great, but don't blow your mind amazing: Bluefin Toro tartare was a fun build You your own temaki that came with spiced nori, sushi rice and toro. It was a fun and delicious appetizer. Cioppino came with a healthy part of Dungeness crab, including seafood. Very good, but nothing particularly amazing to be honest. Could have been better: I wanted to love the Mac and cheese. Visually it looked amazing and had some nice broiled cheese upstairs. You could taste the cheese, but somehow it lacked taste despite. The noodles were nicely cooked al dente but what was great. We ordered a dozen oysters. We had a nice series of oysters and they were mostly fine. Somehow they didn't seem as fresh/flavorful as others we had elsewhere, but that could be easy for us. Don't misunderstand us, it was all quite delicious. Overall a solid bet for a nice meal. Would recommend any seafood lover or people who want to sit in a beautiful indoor space that will feel like you still outdoors!"

"Food was great. Service was great. Decor was great. Came here for dinner to celebrate a friends birthday. Had reservations for 14 people. They were a little slow to seat us due to delays but we had drinks at the bar so it wasn?t too bad. Ordered ALOT of food and everything was tasty, minus the ?ceviche.? I didn?t eat it since I can?t do raw fish but my friends who did didn?t enjoy it. I liked everything I ate so for my experience it was 5 stars:"

"This is a very cozy restaurant where everything is delish. Last night I had ahi tuna, really the best I have ever eaten, and I have eaten it a lot of different places. My husband had a fillet mignon and it was like butter! So tender. Our waiter was a cute and funny guy. So, we all had a very good and fun dinner."
