"I went to Au Pied d`cheval with two friends today. After we ordered the food and wine, it took a while before we were served. Unfortunately, the wine was served without a cooler. On request the waiter brought us a wine cooler without ice. Just... after we asked that we also have ice cream to really cool our wine. The wine costs over 20€, although it costs only about 4€ for the restaurant. The wine was fine, but not great. Besides the wine, we had Moules mariniere with frits. The Moule were great, but unfortunately not enough. The requested mayonnaise was also served only after we had requested it for the second time. Maybe it was just a bad day to visit and maybe the other wines aren't so overpriced, but I don't think we're coming back."

"The quality of the products is very good. all seafood is fresh, and the fish dishes we ordered were cooked for perfection. location is only at the sea and parking is very tricky in a popular area. just reason this review is...not 5 stars is because our waitress was quite rude, which is a scandal, as the service of others waiter was perfect."

"We found a table out side here on a busy Sunday lunch-time. It is a proper restaurant and the prices reflect this. As it was Sunday there was no formule menu on offer, but what I saw for other days, it was pretty decent value....The service was not great, but the food was excellent and I felt worth the relatively high price. Nice buzzy location."
