"Paris Go! had a comprehensive menu, with French traditional favourites and modern options. On the modern side the goats cheese ravioli was excellent, a vegetable tart was delicious, and the fish and scallop main course dish was perfectly cooked. For traditional fare I loved my French onion soup and my husband’s steak was just right. Many dishes looked and smelt delicious, I will have to come back. The desserts looked so good we couldn’t decide, so ordered six for our table of four. The best was the fig pudding, a little bit like sticky date pudding but lighter, with a more delicate flavour. Pear tart tartin was wonderful, the pear pulled apart with a luscious scent of cinnamon, though the short pastry was unusual. I am told the lemon tart was startling in its lemoniness and is recommended. The crème brûlée was fine, the chocolate mousse and profiteroles were nothing very special. It is a full and busy restaurant with good service. It’s all about the food."

"Visited this restaurant for a catch-up with friendsStaff are unfriendly specially the older man touting for business at the front.Out of 6 meals only one was totally enjoyable. Meat and fish dishes were almost inedible Prices high for this type of restaurant especially when you can't eat the meal.Cheapest wine $45, which we also didn't enjoy.The Dessert we ordered was very nice.The free shots of Port after the meal was a nice touch, not sure if this was because we complained about our meal.One entree was ordered for a small eater but a mains was served and charged without us being asked.Won't be back here."

"Myself and my partner had visited Shompen when it first opened. The food and wine was great and the French waitress was excellent. We then booked 6 months later for sister in laws birthday a 6 course meal. This was on Friday night. The English...waitress was eccentric to say the least. Service extremely slow only have 2 tables booked in restaurant. Waitress took 10mins to explained every dish when it came out. She decided to make the birthday girl a special G&T as she described it (we did not request) however charged us for it! My partner had to leave as he had to be up for work early as the meal was taking so long, so missed out. Would never go back or recommend this restaurant agin, really spoilt the night. Didn’t enjoy the food as it seemed to be all about the waitress. 4 people definitely not going back. Maybe think about changing your staff."
