"The meal was ok but rather expensive for what it was. Had to wait very long time in queue to order meal. Meal came out quite quick. Great alfresco area with heaters"

"On the southern edge of the vast area of Viet/Chinese eateries, VIP Kitchens offers the basic fare, and reasonable service, which we get from most in the region.It's the first restaurant, on the left, you would see coming up Springvale Rd from the south. Red and glass frontage, the well-lit interior beckons at night.Over many visits during the last 3 years, the food has remained constantly good. Either as a couple, or with a larger group, the menu range suited all tastes.Management appears to have changed, remains rather laid-back, but we eventually got served with the delicious food. Pork and duck are superb, soups excellent, and rice paper rolls almost a meal each. Plenty of seafood on offer."

"Have been going here for over 5 years now. Some of the best Chinese food I have had, and I am including that comparison with some of the more well known city Chinese places. A good varied menu, good serving sizes, with one or two regional dishes not common in most suburban restaurant. I can highly recommend their crispy skin garlic chicken , and their Peeking Duck. Lots of other great dishes as well. Staff are really good, friendly and attentive. Can highly recommend this establishment."

"This unassuming Vietnamese restaurant in Springvale is usually bustling with Vietnamese diners with a smattering of "in the know* locals. Hue Hue is an authentic central Vietnamese cuisine eating spot. Plenty of fresh seafood for diners choosing. Owned and staffed by an older couple originating from the city of Hue who are somewhat lacking in waiting finesse but certainly make up for this tenfold in flavour. Suggest whole crab or prawns on soft noodles. Generous serves abound. Modestly licensed and BYO whatever you fancy. Cash only."

"We totally enjoyed the traditional Shanghainese food and seafood dishes! The dishes were generous in portion and the seafood was really fresh. My family also loved the vegetarian dishes. The restaurant ambience is great too for couples or family to enjoy a great meal. Staff are friendly and attentive and there are plenty of free parking at the premises. Definitely recommend it to anyone who loves Shanghainese cuisine and seafood or just want to have a great meal at a nice restaurant!"
