"It was pouring rain the night we ate there this past January. It was the closest place to eat around the B&B where we were staying and I'm talking torrential rain and 4 -12 of water in the streets. We waded there and paid $60 for a meal that wasn't worth half the price. I had 2 beers the wife had one glass of wine. It wasn't bad but it was the second most expensive dinner during our 3 week stay and it was near the bottom of the list in terms of flavor. I've heard the taxi drivers push this place because they get paid for bringing folks. You can do a lot better for half the price or less. I will say the atmosphere is nice."

"Just a short walk from the boardwalk, this is a pleasant place that serves authentic Mexican food. To be clear, this in not Tex Mex and you might be disappointed. For example, there’s no tacos or enchiladas on the menu. There is no AC but lots of fans. This is common for Cozumel. Chips an two types of salsa are complimentary Servers speak fluent English. Service is very good. Food is good but not spectacular. They e apt credit card and US dollars Two entrees, bottled water, and guacamole came to $28 without tip. TIP: Pay with credit card and ask to be billed in pesos. They can charge you in dollars for about 10% more."

"We ate the lobster and bacon wrapped shrimp. Both meals were ok, very rich though. After 3 bacon wrapped shrimp I just couldn't eat anymore, it was salty and too rich in flavor. Yes, I know bacon is salty but this seemed overly salty. The lobster, my husbands meal was grilled with garlic butter and lime. This is actually pretty common on the island and it just isn't to our tastes. I guess we prefer Maine lobster to Caribbean lobster. Or maybe it is just the lime on the lobster we would prefer to do without, we don't add lemon to our Maine lobster either. Service and prices were also "OK" not extraordinary."
