"The best sushi/hibachi place in gulfport! Our food was fresh, hot, and a better quality than what we received at a competing hibachi place. We will definitely be returning! They do have a kids menu and various adult beverages as well!"

"The food was amazingly great!! The steak was perfectly cooked, so tender it would melt in your mouth and was seasoned to perfection, I can't think of one thing that could be improved. I've never been let down at Captn Al's and that's why I eat there as often as I can."

"I went here with my wife a couple friends; I must say this is a great restaurant to check out downtown Gulfport. Lamb Lollipops are an amazing starter. I ordered the fish of the day which was the Halibut. I wasn't too impressed with the fish. I should have went with the ribeye. Looking forward to checking this place out again."

"Came for dinner 10/9 after hearing such good reviews and we were sadly disappointed. We placed our name for 4 on the wait list and hostess said about 10 mins, so we waited about 25 mins then hostess tells us they are not allowed to seat anyone for another 40 mins because the kitchen was backed up. Why wasn't this communicated to us before we placed our name and waited 25 mins? I completely understand they were prob short staff but for us to wait for 25 mins then come tell us they can't seat for another 40 mins is absolutely ridiculous and bad business."

"Was there for a special engagement dinner… with a four hundred dollar bill thought they could have offered up at least a bottle of wine for the table. Not to mention the lobster bites for 22 dollar were barely a bite.. the moroccan flounder wasn’t all that either. To much red sauce covered up the taste of the fish and everything else in the dish . The stuffed pork chop was the high light of the night. That was great."

"So we decided to try somewhere we haven’t been and when I say they could’ve kept the restaurant and the food, throw everything away. Felt like a restaurant off of one of the National Lapoon movies. Super outdated..food was mediocre just “ok” absolutely nothing spectacular. Def a place to grab a bite if you need a break from gambling. We got the spinach dip, stuffed shrimp, surf n turf, red velvet cakeall was just . Def needs a menu environment upgrade!"
