"Always great food, sometime service can be slow but I say, don’t go for dinner if you are in a rush! My favourite part of Mr. Mikes is the very vast menu, so many creative items to choose from and so far haven’t been disappointed!! And even better with the great selection of drinks as well!! Cheers!!"

"What a unfortunate experience. We're fairly passive, however the negatives kept building up. Firstly, we made a reservation for a specific booth and it was rather given to another couple just as we were arriving - despite our early arrival. This was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had, let alone of this "calibre" bar none, however to no fault to our delightful waitress at all, whom was obviously working incredibly hard to keep up with the unexpected crowd on a Sunday of a long weekend. The quality of food and appropriateness in which the manager on hand handled the situation to correct the issue was deplorable. The entrée was incredibly distasteful, not only did it arrive quite late, the lacklustre, thinly sliced piece of prime rib was actually cold and flavourless. They attempted to correct this by heating my exact same, entire plate, yorkshire pudding, mashed potatoes and all. My plate arrived back extremely hot with the roast beef now entirely grey throughout and tough. Ten to fifteen minutes after sending it back for a second time - and my wife now 80% through her main (which was fine thankfully or else this would be a 1-star review) the manager on hand - Kevin, inappropriately took a seat in our booth and confrontationally requested that I tell him how to make things right. I placed the onus on him to make things right and he said my entire meal would be taken care of. When presented with the bill, I couldn't believe that they had the audaciousness to charge me for everything after such a terrible experience, from the bread - which wasn't asked for, to the starter salad and all, except for the the prime rib. I've frequented restaurants of lesser touted calibre to which did FAR more to correct their mistake(s) to which I would show my gratitude for their doing the right thing. We enjoyed going to Atlas before, however I don't believe we will be going back anytime soon, if ever now. What a shame."

"To my amigo in the previous review. Senor, por favor, la comida barata sin sabor es en todo los Subways!Subways are just as consistent as McDonalds with very few being outstandingly bad (a couple in Winnipeg and Vancouver come to mind as trash heaps), and this one is pretty well close to the average for quality. The first time I went there I was being served by someone on their first day (it seemed like it might even have been his first order) and it was very comical to see their supervisor point out to them what spinach was and what to do with falafel. He genuinely seemed to not have ever seen half the items in front of him. I guess he wasn't a big veggie fan!What I thought was outrageous was that the lobster sub cost SIX DOLLARS MORE than the exact same one in Salmon Arm! I can understand regional differences in pricing but to charge that much more for a sub than one just an hour's drive away is ridiculous.The place is small and at lunchtimes inordinately crowded. It's also a bit dreary and run down, so you might be better off getting your sub from one of the other, better, cleaner, and more updated Subways elsewhere in town."

"Staying nearby, took my two boys for dinner. The food was good, we had a decent view outside and the prices were reasonable though not cheap. Restaurant was clean and staff friendly. Only negative would be that I think they could have used one more on staff for hosting and serving."

"This is currently my favourite downtown restaurant. I am a bit of a food snob, and I can honestly say that Mittz Kitchen not only offers fantastic food; but a fabulous, friendly atmosphere and attentive (but not intrusive) staff. Just eat here. Oh, and try the braised short ribs...you won't be disappointed."
