"Let's start with a drink. "Local Brews on Tap – Ask your Server". No, no local brews. So, I order a Corona. The server comes back, no, we have no corona. I ordered the lobster & shrimp caprese pasta. Ew. Lobster was chewy - rubbery. Watery at the bottom of the bowl. Top texture appeared like it had been sitting - maybe waiting until all 4 entrees were ready. My entrée came with a garden salad. Lettuce + red onion slices + croutons. Is this a joke? My husband ordered maine lobster bake. Again - rubbery and watery. Fresh? I don't think so. Over priced for what you are getting."

"We were looking forward to our visit as several friends had recommended Gilt. We visited around 5:30 on Sunday. We were seated promptly and our drinks were taken right away. We placed our order but, despite the restaurant being nearly empty at that time, we waited a very long tune until our first plate arrived. The scallops were tasty. However it was close to an hour before our other food arrived. The open kitchen allowed us to view the staff at work. Verrrrrry slow. Also it didn't appear they were wearing hairnets, etc, so not the greatest impression for those viewing then as they prepped our food. We had the tuna tacos, lamb ribs, stuffed peppers, and the Korean chicken. We liked the chicken and lamb. However, the tuna came drizzled with mustard which was not a good flavor combination. We were undecided whether or not we cared for the pepper dish. All in all, we were disappointed and likely won't return to Gilt due to the slow kitchen service and the actual dishes themselves. For the money, the dishes should be in point, as well as the service. We travel and dine extensively and we know they can do better"

"This is the lobby resto in the Crowne Plaza and you could be forgiven if your expectations are a bit low. It's not much to look at, and if there's no in-house event, it's a pretty quiet spot.But push past it and dive in. The food is really very good and the kitchen knows its way around the ocean. Lobster bisque is perfect, and the lobster and mango cones are tasty.The beet/squash/goat cheese salad is fresh and lovely, and the seafood flat bread is a perfect small entree. If you are a bit hungrier, the roasted salmon is perfectly cooked.Service is friendly and quick."

"These folks actually recognize me walking in the door, so that probably gives you an idea of how much I like the Subway sandwiches. I alternate between flatbread and honey-oat (which is one of their whole wheat breads). Sometimes they have featured sandwiches for a short period such as smoked meat, or lobster meat, and occasionally I will try them (sometimes I like the features, as in the smoked meat, sometimes not, as in the lobster - I thought it was too expensive for what I received).My preferred regular choice is a BMT: a premium mixed cold cut sandwich, with all of the exta fixings they can fit on (such as lettuce, tomatoes, green peppers, onions, hot peppers, mayo, avocado and cheese.Subway has many different salad, soup, sandwich, and dessert options, and even now has wraps for those who don't want to eat a lot of bread."

"I've never had a soup here that I didn't like. I don't come here as often as I like because it feels like they charge a lot of money for a bowl of soup. I guess it's not too far out there since I still come sometimes. Still, I always feel like I'm paying some kind of an extra charge above and beyond the value of the soup. I'll be back, I just won't be as happy as I could be."

"I've been to Zoup! in the States before, but this was my first stop while here in Kitchener on business. Many people I work with come here on a fairly regular basis. I had the Lobster Bisque in a bread bowl. I always love the Bisque, and today was no exception. Only regret is that when served in the bowl, you don't get enough soup - at least I don't get enough of the tasty bisque. The bread bowl was good too, but I had much more bread than soup. Still, I'll definitely be back."

"This new restaurant is designed for those who like group dining, eating with your hands in a casual setting. There are ample choices of seafood where you can choose your sauce and heat level. My selection was the seafood teriyaki, which came with dry rice, tasty shrimp that needed to be shelled, clams and mussels, which were tender and flavorful, crawfish that I tired quickly from trying to extract a morsel of fish to heavily breaded white fish. The fish was moist, but the coating lacked crispness. Wouldn't recommend this dish. The service was pleasant throughout. Other patrons seem to have a good experience here that may be worthy of a second visit with others."

"Honestly this was our 2nd choice but it turned out great. We were seated in the bar area at a booth , our server Justin ? Jason) was there in an instant. The place was about 2/3rds full so pretty busy. He came by dropped menu's...and said he'd be back in a minit, within that minit another server came to our table said it was busy and offered to get our drinks. She delivered our drinks it seemed instantly. J came took our orders dropped off bread and we were on our way to dining heaven. Never waited for anything ! The food was hot delicious and a good portion, if only our local Eastsides was as good I won't tell you it's Peterborough) We're in Cambridge a few times a year we'll be back."
