"We took my mother to this restaurant thinking it would be a fun food experience. We spent a couple hundred dollars for three of us. Although the food was good it wasn't the best entertainment. Also I ordered Prawns and Steak and received the same Shrimp that everyone else at the table ordered but I had to pay more for my dish. We have been to other places like this and the cook was so much more interactive. Also you got your food at different intervals so if you waited for your whole meal parts of it were cold."

"When we arrived to the restaurant, it seemed good, and the menu looked great. But we felt very rushed by our server, and it seemed like she was not happy to be there. I got the chicken cordon blue, and ordered a Caesar salad instead...of the regular salad that came with, and my friend got the filet of sole Madagascar. When we got the food, part of the one meal was cold, but mostly good although the rice is most likely out of the freezer as well as the vegetables. The chicken cordon blue was good as well. But after we asked for part of the food to be reheated, the server never came to check on us, and just didn’t seem to care, again seemed like she was in a huge rush the whole time even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. Then when the bill came... They charged an EXTRA for the Caesar salad which was literally just Romain, nasty Caesar dressing and fake Parmesan cheese, and the meal was supposed to come with a salad, I just upgraded it to this lame excuse of a Caesar salad. We then asked why it was so much and was given the manager to talk to. She told us that there was an up charge, and that you won’t find it cheaper anywhere else, but obviously we have since no one charges that much for lettuce, dressing, and fake cheese. She then said she would take it off the bill and stormed off. When she came back, she said very angrily, “if you can find an up charged Caesar salad for less than let me know, and slammed the bill onto the table. I would definitely never recommend this restaurant to anyone if you are looking for a nice place, with good service."

"My husband and I have always loved the escargot starter at The Keg, so when our 5 and 8 year old children decided they wanted to give snails a try we thought we'd pop in. We had planned to go right at 4pm on Saturday but ended up getting there closer to 5pm and we were seated right away (by the time we came out an hour or so later, it was standing room only for a table). Our plan was for escargot and Billy Miner pie (another fave) and that was it - just to take our kids on an adventure and try something new. We ordered calimari as a back up (in case the snails didn't go over so well) and it was fantastic! Great consistency and loved both dips and the jalapeños. Turns out both kids liked the escargot and loved the calimari. The bread and whipped butter to start was lovely (as always) and unexpected because we were just getting starters and dessert but thank you! For dessert we had the classic Billy Miner pie - great big slice to share and also ordered creme brûlée because my daughter wanted to try something new. It was a generous size as well and a perfect addition to our adventure. Our server was lovely, sweet and made sure we were well taken care of (thank you to Myikayla). This isn't The Keg we normally go to but we'll be back - it was a great experience. We also love that The Keg has somewhat private tables (so not to worry if our kids needed to move around a little)."
