"We ate here this past Sunday and found the restaurant a quirky feasts for the eyes. Entering at the vestibule was filled with an array of flickering white candles amongst quirky artifacts...that set the stage for the story of this restaurant. Everywhere you look...there is a mini story to unfold...especially all the paintings and photographs on the walls..which are varying depictions of the owner and host. The food was dynamic French cuisine, with a delicious avocado and mango starter followed by basic linguini and clam sauce. (yes more Italian than French, and sadly delivered lukewarm at best). Others in the party were happy with their choices ranging from duck to beef, and the dessert course presented a delicious chocolate liquified center mini souffle with raspberry sorbet. An interesting place that you would be more able to find in LA or NY rather than a quaint small town in the Dordogne. Worth a visit for the fun ambiance, and interesting menu. (The guest watercloset deserves an adults only designation.."

"An extraordinary experience. Delicious food (the pork cooked in two ways was to die for, the trolley of ripened cheeses unforgettable, to mention just a few). The service and the presentation of the food rose to the best I have ever experienced. And the courtesy of all the personnel became even more apparent when we ran into a personal problem (unrelated to the restaurant) and they went above and beyond to help us get back safely to our hotel. Amazing service at every possible level. A pure gem!!! Mario Suva"
