"There are well over a thousand restaurants in Montreal, and this is currently ranked #2! There are a very few not-so-positive reviews, mostly from four or more years ago. We were a party of 5, covering three generations. We each had a soup or salad, and 5 different main dishes: chicken, lamb, venison, fish, and veal. We tried four different desserts. Everything we sampled was exquisite. Of course a restaurant this good does not come cheap, and the bill, including a tip of 20% came to over $400, but one does not go to a restaurant of this calibre every week. There was no problem with people leaving to have a smoke, as mentioned in one review. The restaurant is not large, but tables were reasonably spaced, and we had no problem conversing. I will always remember this restaurant as one of the best I have ever eaten at, and recommend it unreservedly; just remember that the prices of its dishes match their quality."
