"Our family always goes to local restaurants and support all small businesses. My father always tips well over 20% regardless of service or quality of food (as my sisters and I have been servers since we were 16). With this being said, we are never complainers. We are happy, really, no matter what. We decided to go to Element for my moms birthday (a place we regularly attend). Our sever, Angelina, started out very nice and attentive. Until about half way through, my fiancé heard her talking to other staff, mimicking the way he was calling her “miss”. We all giggled about It until we realize she hasn’t been back to our table in over 30 minutes as we waited to order dessert for my mom’s birthday. I went over to the hostess stand where she was standing, and I said you haven’t been to our a table in a little while— she said someone else should have checked on us and I said no one has. (Again, we are servers and we understand what it’s like to get busy… but we watched her attend every table around us without even a quick apology or check up) She finally came to drop the check on the table and practically ran away. My sister asked to speak to a manager. The manager was amazing and understanding we watched him tell her the situation. She came back over very abrasive and unapologetic when we explained that we really wanted to just order desserts for my moms birthday. She said “happy birthday to whoever’s birthday It even is” along with other snarky, rude comments. As we walked out, we overheard talking about us and the situation to other costumers at the bar. This is NO WAY to treat a costumer at a table and incredibly disappointing."

"We got take-out Saturday night. Called in the order around 3:30 pm to be picked up at 5:30 pm. Ordered 2-quarts of New England Clam Chowder which we will drive for all the way from Egg Harbor Township to get. This time however, we were bringing it in for dinner with my parents who live local to it. We also ordered a seafood combo, blackened grouper sandwich, cod meal, halibut meal and the Shrimp Skewers. My parents prefer to get takeout as as it is too noisy in the restaurant with everyone talking at the same time. Besides there is usually a long wait to get a table inside. They do have a cosy outside dining area which is very nice too with fire pits when it gets cooler out. We have been going there for many years. We only get the seafood there although they do have some entrees for land-lovers."

"Great spot right on the water with food and drinks. The prices are very reasonable and everything is good for an outdoor spot like this. They have some lawn games like cornhole and a small kid play area off to the side. Tented seating is near the bar but they also have outdoor tables all around. Food is served from essentially food trucks and is either American, Seafood or Desert. I had the lobster roll which is a good size for the price they charge and was very good. The chicken tenders left something to be desired. Beer and full service drinks are also priced well and they have a ton of beers on tap. Biggest complaint is there is an Anti-Bird call that plays all the time at a super high pitch. Anyone with half decent hearing will notice it and let me tell you its annoying as heck."
