"This is by far the BEST food truck in the (could be your) town! The Tackle Box is my favorite food truck hands down! They were here today at my job in El Monte, CA (which they were here daily). As usual they did it again...Food is/was AHHHMAZING! Yes, I know know how to spell amazing but they were AHHHMAZING! 100% pure deliciousness and just like they tell you be patient their food is being made/prepared freshly and with a smile. The two of them handled their long line of folks (who might I add were willing to wait for it) they handled us all with a smile. If you EVER hear of them coming to a city near you, you must absolutely try them I promise you will not be sorry! Tackle Box if you ever see this thank you guys for such delicious food friendly service! This was my third time eating there I've always been satisfied with the fish special tartar sauce but this time I tried the shrimp alfredo fries OMG you guys did it again extremely delicious just enough of everything and that never happens!"

I had a taco salad tasty and full of vegetables. my friends had shepherd pier and steak tips. they also agreed that their food was delicious and steak tips were cooked to perfection. only cons is that they can use a decoration facial lift. they look forward to their outdoor seating when the weather gets better."

"Would that I, like Antipholus of Ephesus, arrived at Goats N Roses to find the door lock 'd and Dromio sending me on my way. If only. Nothing went right at our visit to this I-need-an-insulin-shot-it 's-so-cute establishment. The ensuing comedy of errors, however, resulted in one of the worst dining experiences I 've ever had, for here we found neither cheer nor welcome; we would fain have either. Having made a reservation the day before, we arrived only to find the restaurant doesn 't accept reservations. Apparently, so the story went, this was the mistake of someone new to the staff. Fine, but you took our name and phone number and you chose to wait for us to show up to tell us? I will give them they managed to seat us within a half-hour, despite the restaurant being somewhat busy, but still, a simple courtesy call informing us of the mistake would have been the way to go here. Having been sat, it took an hour from ordering appetizers for said appetizers to appear on the table. You may think I hyperbolize. I assure you, I do not. We arrived at 6:30. Our appetizers arrived shortly after 8:00. At this point, the restaurant started to empty out while we waited for our mains which ended up arriving around 9:00. If the kitchen had been busy, I could understand, but they weren 't. They were standing around talking and having a good old time. Why, you ask, if the service was so atrocious, didn 't we just cut our losses and leave? The thought occurred, but by this point we all had a perverse desire to see the play to its end, however that may turn out. The food, which is why you 're here, I presume, was superlatively meh. They were out of the famous carrot and parsnip fries. They were out of yuca. The waitress gushed about the Purple Goat. My dining companion, however, was underwhelmed by said oddly colored goat. The frittata had a strange, glossy sheen to it and was oddly rubbery. . The special of lobster mac and cheese with filet tips was amazing in it 's ordinariness. The sauce seemed to lack any semblance of cheese and there was but one morsel of lobster to be found. The filet, on the other hand, was excellent, so we can put that one in the win column. Finally, to put fit and finish to the evening, we asked for coffee. The restaurant doesn 't serve coffee. The lunch truck has coffee. The chinese restaurant has coffee. The guy at the table next to us commented Excuse me, did you just say you don 't have coffee? How do you have a restaurant and not serve one of the basic food groups? As we got our bill, we asked to speak to the manager. No coffee, no manager. That explains this particular production of The Comedy of Errors: there was no director so the players were left to their own designs and thus the production was a shambles. Too bad. This could be a good venue. Clearly people really like this place, judging from the number of 4- and 5-star reviews. Mediocre food combined with just jaw-droppingly terrible service means we won 't be back. As one of my dining companions commented as we left over 3 hours after we arrived, At least it was cheap."

"Wow.. what a place.. awesome atmosphere, out door dining pond side. Nice walking trail around the pond.. the food, oh my.. what a amazing lobster roll, buttered top spilt roll grilled to crispy perfection and stuffed to the edges with lobster. my girls hadthe kids Frisby meal, free ice cream and a Frisby how can you go wrong.. the grilled cheese was perfect. And for desert the wifeand I had Sundays. Giffords never disappoints.. I recommend the amaretto chocolate cherry Sunday.."
