"I was going to order the lobster mac and cheese witch my fiancée was having but the waitress told me I could not order the same thing and she told me what I was having. Now iam sure if I spoke up and said no I want the lobster mac and cheese it would have been ok but I was in shock because ive never had a waitress tell me what iam having. I had the house made pappardelle and thought to myself it better be good. It was very good. Better than her lobster mac and cheese. Very fun and loud place with classic rock blaring in the backround but expensive for a pizza and pasta place."

"We ate here a few weeks ago. The twisted tator tots with pork belly lardon were phenomenal- great start to the meal! The bar is full stocked and able to make pretty much anything you can think of, I got a white gummy bear and it was perfect! The bacon, lettuce, bacon, tomato, bacon sandwich (yes that's really the name on the menu) was good. Hubby got the pitchfork ranch meatloaf n mac and he was more impressed with the Macaroni then the Meatloaf but... live and learn. We'll be back to explore more of the menu!"

"The experience here was less than satisfying. The waitress made sure to rattle off all of the prices for everything that she described. It was only noticeable because she didn't do it at any other table she served near us. Since we were the only people of color in the restaurant, I can only assume it was an issue for her. I then had another server adjust an A/C unit above me without say pardon me or excuse me. The unit then began to drip on my wife and I. We requested to be moved and were eventually. This was our 24th wedding anniversary and dinner was a bust."

"I enjoyed the food here, but the prices were high for what we got. With a tip, the pictured food was $37, which isn't a very good deal in my opinion. However, the atmosphere was very nice and pleasant. If it was priced more reasonably, I would definitely return in the future. I understand that it's difficult for restaurants to make it in times of inflation. The waitress was kind and did a great job."

Perhaps Diner22 should recognize that there was a SIX month break between the writing of my review and their experience, and PERHAPS they should have kept an open mind rather than automatically labeling me as they they did. I forgive you, Diner22, for obviously based on YOUR experience Zinc saw and fixed the myriad of discrepancies experienced during my visit. This is why we review: to criticize and offer feedback, and I thank the Urban Spoon for offering this outlet for improvement. I believe my review helped, and your review, though condescending as it was, may show others that Zinc has risen above their initial faults to become a better restaurant.
