"We stopped in to Pirmasens over the holiday and quickly discovered Da Mario. We were so impressed with our first meal of pasta and lobster, that we went back for several more meals! Across the board, each dish we had was beautifully prepared with excellent...sauces and delicious flavors. The service is wonderful, and Mario, the owner, is there at all times, making sure his customers are happy. Finally, we found the prices to be extremely reasonable we couldn't possibly eat this well for this cost, in the USA. If you find yourself in this town, make sure you visit Da Mario for some superb, gourmet Italian food !"

"One of the best restaraunts we have visited in any country. My steak was done to perfection, the pate melted in my mouth and their regional wines complemented the food choices I even had a local beer that was quite good. Our party...was treated excellently by the attentive staff and although my wife and I don't speak much German, the staff was fairly fluent in English making it all the better an experience."
