"We loved the live cooking performance and the chefs were very entertaining. The service was fairly good, but very rushed. We were still starting to enjoy our freshly cooked delicious meal when the waiter insisted on serving the ice cream like Now. I asked if the we could wait until we could eat forst and the waiter said you can have it now or tomorrow . I thought he was joking and said tomorrow, but he brought it that very next minute and it was all just wasted and melted while we ate. So delicious food, awesome entertaining chefs, clean dining area and clean bathroom, but the rushy waiter slightly rude as well, took a point off of what would of been a 5 score."

"The chef at our table was more low key than some of the others. He did a good job though. My chicken was sooo dry I could barely eat any of it. My husband got the noodles and chicken and his was very tasty.The staff was friendly and kept our drinks filled. I will go back and try something different.Kid-friendliness: We were celebrating my grandson’s 9th birthday. There was a large group so we sat at 2 different tables. The chef at the kids table was playing around with the 4 kids and 3 were laughing and having the best time. 1 child was afraid of the fire and the chef flipping utensils. The chef was very aware and tried to keep things away from her."

"Has anyone ever had bad food from a red lobster?! Not me. This location is clean and the staff is friendly. The only complaint I have, was the waitress or last visit. If the restaurant had been busy I would be more understanding, but they weren't. No reason to not check on your table the entire meal."

"Anniversary dinner with our two children, 8 and 10. We decided to sit out on the porch on a fairly humid June evening and the ceiling fans made for a nice breeze. We find most of the restaurants are overly air-conditioned, but Metro 8 didn't seem like a fridge even when we came in - that's a big plus for me! Our waitress was very nice and attentive without interfering. She noted that it was nice to see kids with books (and math in our conversation) instead of iPads. The steaks my husband and I ordered were as advertised and delicious. So were the pages. Our girls loved their grilled chicken. Cocktails were good and just the right strength. Highly recommended."

"Love this place. Have been dining here for over 10 years. Love the stuffed salmon especially. One thing I admire RD for is his attention to quality. He used to serve grouper but when he could no longer het a reliable source for the quality he demanded, he dropped it from the menu. Great hands-on owner. The owner's attitude about the room reserved for parties, meetings, etc. is unique in that he doesn't charge a fee for use of the room. Outstanding attitude, atmosphere, food, and service."
