"You definitely need to have dinner here while in Trinidad, because exceptional food is rare here (the food is merely correct at 1514) but at least you'll be in one of the city's most beautiful setting. The service is really good, the staff pleasant, but sometimes the band(s) playing at night are really too loud disruptive. Make a reservation for the main dining room rather than the back garden. When you have a minute between courses, go take a peek at the kitchen, you'll be amazed by it. EDIT Jan 2018: the food got better, and the bands aren't as loud anymore. It is definitely my favorite place in Trinidad. It is expensive once you order lobster etc, count about 30CUC per person for a great experience. I upgraded from 4 to 5 stars"
