"Stylish, high end restaurant, Harry's stands out from the other restaurants in Playa del Carmen. Might be a little formal for some, probably ideal for a date, Anniversary, special occasion etc, myself I prefer a more relaxed vibe. The reason for not giving the full 5/5 score was down to a minor issue which caused a little stress initially at our table. One member of our group is gluten-free and even though front of house staff said this wouldn't be an issue, they didn't initially instill my friend with confidence. There was no one-to-one explanation of non-gluten choices time was passing by, until we pushed the issue with the waiter. We just felt that this should be done at table seating, not 15-20 minutes later. Other than that minor issue, taking the whole dining experience into account, service was good, the food drinks were excellent and they serve very generous portions."

"I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Andaz Mayakoba! The food and service at all the restaurants were top-notch, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Special thanks to Valeria, our butler, who went above and beyond to assist with our requests. The beach staff was also exceptionally helpful. This resort truly deserves a 5-star rating, and I can’t wait to return!"

"Overall we enjoyed our stay at this resort. We had the all inclusive package for 5 nights. Our room was nice and clean. The resort itself is nicely designed and well maintained. The staff were really nice and took care of us. The resort beaches, however small, are nice and clean. The pools are good size and well maintained. Where this resort fell short for us was the food (the reason for 3 stars). The food was average at best which is a pity. Breakfast was very bland, nothing special. The lunch and dinner menus had a nice variety but the food itself was not that tasty. I think overall the food lacked basic spices like salt and pepper. The resort is located in a very nice and lively area with a lot of restaurants and cafes around. So if we want to visit the resort again, we would only get the basic package and would go out to eat. There was a special dinner for Christmas eve that we needed to pay extra for, $120/person on top of the all-inclusive. We took issues with that and they resolved it to our satisfaction so credit to them. But generally speaking, they need to reconsider this as it really doesn't make sense for an all-inclusive guest or any guest to be forced to pay this much extra."
