"If you're looking for upscale dining with upscale prices LOL this is the place for you. I love the romantic couple that comes to your table and plays the accordion and guitar. They have been there for years. We have eaten here on several occasions, but I do find that the menu is limited according to the season, which is OK. The last time I went I didn't like the renovated decor and found it very plain as though they stripped the character out of the restaurant. The prices are very high but again if you want a special occasion restaurant… I would probably list this one in the top three.Staff is wonderful and they have hired amazing chef's back there in the kitchen! The portions are not large by any means, but I don't walk away hungry either."

"If you are looking for a good Chinese Restaurant this isn 't it! I ordered Almond Soo Guy which when prepared properly is delicious. Mine wasn 't warm enough so the cook decided to microwave it! So much for the crusty coating, a soggy hot mess. Also, the gravy served with this dish was tasteless. Ordered Chicken Fried Rice, dry, no taste, no egg and I didn 't see any chicken. Also, the bar menu is dated to say the least. Save your money."

"This is the second time I eat in this restaurant since January 2017. Both times I found the food excellent good presentation and excellent service. I enjoyed a half bottle of the Pinot Grigio. We were a small group of people and we had reserved the back room which is a good space for 12 to 14 people. Although this restaurant is in a basement and there are no windows it is comfortable, the furnishings can be described as traditional, earth tones, the lighting is dim and makes for a fine dining experience."

"When the hospital cafeteria is higher rated than Anke and Tony's you know something is wrong. Been to this place many times, and it is well worth the visit. Always a struggle to figure out if I'll be eating the Fish and Chips or something...from the Thai side. The green curry is my favourite is so far. If you're using TripAdvisor's ratings to figure the best to worst restaurants, don't. Skip the hospital cafeteria (as well as several other joints listed above this one) and make your way to Anke and Tony's."

"My husband choose Red Lobster for his birthday dinner. We were both disappointed. They changed their menu recently and removed everything he generally orders. The stuffed mushrooms were loaded with cheese which was nothing special. Our mains consisted of overcooked salmon for me with colossal...shrimp that was tasteless and a seafood and linguine for my husband. He wasn't happy with his meal. The meal was over $100 and we were not impressed. The waitress was very attentive and she was well tipped for her effort. Unfortunately we likely won't be going back for a long time."

"I bet this was the place to be seen 40 years ago. I also bet the menu, decor, and tablecloths were the same. When I see sauteed mushrooms, I shudder.My New York strip looked like it had been pounded then fried. I think this because it had the texture of minute steak. Flavour was there but the eyes eat first.I don't get how this place is so highly rated. The Keg we drove by would have been a better option and will be next time.The wine selection is too small and forced us to select the best of the worst.Get with the times or close the doors."

"Had an excellent experience here. The food was very authentic Italian and made fresh.The sausage ravioli,risotto and vodka penne were all cooked to perfection. The tiramisu is a must have one of the best I have ever had. Visited the weekend of December"
