"I’ve eaten at many fine steakhouses but I chose Flemings for my birthday (and twin sister). We had a party of 7. As always the food was outstanding. My dry-aged ribeye was cooked to perfection. My friend had scallops and he raved about them. One person ordered the tomahawk steak (35oz) for himself and not only ate that but 1/2 of my steak! The lobster bisque is always outstanding. Kay, the managing partner, does an outstanding job. On a scale of 1-5, I give them a 7! 2 extra stars because they always make us feel at home when we eat there."

"The service was great, only issue was the fried chicken was super dry this day. We have had this dish before and it’s normally really good, so not sure what the issue was this time but the server was great in getting us a different plate. Overall, good experience!"

"Most of the food we had was pretty good but the service was soooooo slow. We came for lunch on a Friday and there were only about 4 tables occupied in the whole restaurant. We ordered the shrimp Bruschetta as an appetizer and the lunch combos. The appetizer was brought out at the same time as part of the lunch combos which I didn't quite understand the rationale for. Even that took over 20 minutes. From a business standpoint, you always want to have something on the table so when people order appetizers you should get them out as quickly as possible. I had a Pepsi to drink and the server offered to refill with a diet Coke? If you offer Pepsi than that's not even a possibility so maybe our server was just very inexperienced. I have 4 stars because the food we did have was good. The shrimp Bruschetta was tasty, the wedge salad was good, and the lobster bisque was decent. I LOVE that they have Pepsi products!"

"I went to my birthday for the first time and was disappointed when I garnished the bourbon and grits on the menu didn't see why I left. I tasted the court at an event with the 100 best restaurants in dc and it was divine! the chef made it to my question and even brought it out to me! talk about champagne treatment. He was sweet too. I can't describe how delicious it was. the hostess even brought me dessert with a candle and sang me so great. thank you. chef and all the staff to treat me so nice and help me make my birthday so unforgettable!"
