"The food is amazing!!! Very consistent too! My husband brought me to Fortress for the Valentine's special dinner they were hosting. I was pleasantly surprised with all of the options they provided and the amount of food for their pre fixed menu. (We both got to pick an appetizer, entree, dessert and wine or signature cocktail) This is the third time I have had dinner at Fortress and like I said earlier consistent excellent quality!! My favorite is the chuleta Frita (pork chop) but I decided to have the lobster tail and it was cooked to perfection. Love the colorful atmosphere and music too! If you live in Vacaville you must try and if you don't...it's worth the drive."

"We went here for Mother's Day, again! We used to go here frequently, then life changed and it became infrequent. Last Mother's Day we came, and it was new people for us, and not a memorable meal. We came this year, and what a difference a year made. It was SO GOOD. We started with potstickers, and spring rolls. I thought they would be raw crunchy fresh rolls, but they were similar to eggrolls or lumpia, and tasty. We ordered Lobster Fried Rice, Drunken Noodles with Pork, and Panang Curry with Pork. The Panang Curry was to be mild but was plenty spicy for me, and a delicious peanut flavor. The Lobster Fried Rice was indescribably delicious. The servings were huge, and the leftovers reheated for a second delicious dinner. (I just had to make rice. Rose Garden is back on our list of favorites."

"A pretty solid sushi restaurant for the area. Beef was overcooked but had great seasoning and teriyaki sause, but for $18 they sure can cut the price by $3 to match its value. The salad was very good and there was plenty of it for each entree! The miso soup was alright... There are over 40 different sushis to choose from and there is a whole menu dedicated to them!Service really stood out tonight as they knew that Thanksgiving was tomorrow and there was a relaxed atmosphere, especially with the warriors vs 76ers game on. The server calls to let your group know the table is ready and quickly seats you with the menus and checks up often for water/soda.Ive come to expect a solid Japanese restaurant in the area and its just matched with what I thought. Maybe a $1-3 price adjustment on some items like the bento and teriyaki entrees and it's pretty good for what it is!"

"Dinning room is open and now is the time for a personal hibachi dinner...dave put on a great show and a delicious dinner...lobster was overcooked but the shrimps and scallops were phenomenal. All in all entertaining and good food. I think sushi is their strong suit here but had to try the hibachi."
