"I brought my parents to this restaurant two weeks ago. I heard good things about it,but was I disappointed. First of all, I tried making reservations since my parents are older and I didn't want them to have to stand around waiting. I was told they don't make reservations for groups of less than 6. I wasn't to thrilled about this, but decided to go anyway. My mistake. When we arrived, they said it would be about half an hour. It actually took one hour before we got a table. Then, we had to wait at least ten minutes for a menu. I guess the regulars don't need one because they asked us if we wanted one. We did. They brought the menus with a small piece of paper. When I inquired what the paper was for, they told me I had to write down my order. I had to chase a waiter around to ask about some of their items. After finally placing my order, we waited quite a long time for the meal. Which wasn't worth the wait. I read great reviews about the lobster so I ordered it. It was terrible. The black bean sauce was slimy and there was practically no lobster meat. It was all shell. We also ordered the shrimp in lobster sauce, but it was never brought to the table, so I can't comment on that. The Cantonese Chow mein was terrible. The noodles where fried to a crisp, with practically no sauce, so we felt like we were eating chips. The won ton soup was probably the best thing we ate, and it wasn't really that great. All that for $140.00. It was definitely NOT WORTH IT!!!! I would never go back. If you are in the area and want chinese food, stick with Cynthia's. It's 100% better and cheaper!!!!"

"Good “Keg” experience. Food was good. The service we had was just right. The bar/lounge area was as self serve which detracted from the experience. There were many dirty tables, which seem to reoccur over the course of the night. The music was a good level and the drinks were tasty. Parking lot patios should be designed to not have cars park right in front. Several patrons parking were unaware and ignorant enough to back in, sit in they running car with their brake lights on. Some situational awareness by people would be nice, or a better design would avoid.Parking: Strip mall parking."

"This is my first visit and I only came because there was a wait at the Keg. Well move over Keg! I will definitely be back to Canyon Creek. My New York was perfectly cooked and then peppercorn sauce was very good as well. The vegetables wete excellent. At first I thought they steak lacked a little flavor, but I soon realized it just had much less salt on it. After a few bites I began to enjoy them less salty taste of my meal. They service was also very good. See you soon Canyon Creek."
