"The atmosphere is relaxing it is next to the river the food is fantastic and the waiting staff is professional and friendly best restaurant that we have found since the move to West Virginia last July 2021. They even have docks and fuel available for boaters."

"Come here at least once a week. And almost always busy. A little known hack is to ask for bread on the side if getting a fish sandwich. The standard fish sandwich is Pollack but theres custom order options like Canadian White in the special order line, which is also good. Possibly the best coleslaw and clam chowder in the valley. The deviled crab and their seasoned fries are also good options. Also sells fresh fish and seafood to take home."

"Believe every comment you read! They do not use Open Table despite allowing you to make a reservation. We stood in line for 30+ minutes despite having a confirmed reservation and the hosts never checked us in, asked for a name etc even after I mentioned that we had an Open Table reservation. Not to mention, the place had all of the ambiance of a low rent banquet hall. Not worth the time or !!"

"It was my husband's birthday; it was nice out and still light so we sat outside the dining area inside is very dark). It's a nice setup but is super noisy from the Milwaukee ave traffic. I ordered the crab leg cocktail which must have been hurriedly thawed because there were ice crystals and it was watery. They're known for steaks so I had the 3 filets ordered medium. The server brought them out and suggested we check for doneness thought that was nice) mine was way too rare. So I asked it be cooked another couple of minutes; about 10 minutes later it came back totally well done. I took a couple of bites but it was awful. The sides were good and I ate them and declined having a new order made. The manager came over and very nicely took it off the bill but I would have preferred to have had them cooked properly and enjoyed. Also, the 3 crusts were mushy and indistinguishable. My husband's steak was ordered cmediumnrare and was fine."

"Wheeling Brewing Company is a relatively new addition to the historic center market district of downtown. There are neighbors antique shops, great restaurants and other cute shops, and there is a good piece of street parking right in front. Wheeling Brewing Company offer a menu full of articles like Hoppy Hummus made with their Moondog IPA; three cheeses, reefs, and sweet and savory chicken sliders; and meatballs or pulled pork hoes. Specials on board that caught my eye were a lobster ravioli and filled hot peppers. Everything sounded pretty delicious, but because we just had dinner, we were just looking for beer. We were lucky because Wheeling Brewing Company had seven own designs of beers and a guest beer. This night was Bridge Brew Works' Long Point camp. They could get half a flight with four beers or their entire seven guest. We went for the latter. When we waited for our beer, we talked about the landscape. It's a super chill environment. Dark, but relaxed. A exposed brick wall, cool lighting and an open view into the brewing area set the sound. I'd do it that way, so just get some fun."
