"Everything about this experience was great. I’m gluten free and forgot to mention this in my order. Ray sorted it out for me over the phone and then introduced himself on the afternoon. Staff were all friendly and helpful and food was great. We sat out afterwards just enjoying the peace and quiet."

"Anniversary dinner with my girlfriend. It was beautiful. I took a star off for ambience as it was a touch on the old fashioned traditional dining for me, ie a bit quiet and formal. But really high class in terms of venue, food and service. Prices are fully in line or even a shade over London which I felt was a little much but not enough to spoil the evening."

"Great restaurant and staff! I’m vegetarian and my boyfriend eats meat so perfect choice for our different dietary requirements. The restaurant also had a partnership with an organisation that funds breakfast for kids with struggling parents. A mere 30p is added to the bill. Fantastic idea!"

"We had to wait for an hour on our pre-ordered table when I waited my parents in the middle of the eighties without adding anywhere. The starters were good, but my main was bad, lots of volume, but tasteless We then waited for 40 minutes to the desert menu and gave up and the jug of the water finally came after 30 minutes. We left and paid the bill at the entrance where there was a queue of people waiting for their pre-ordered tables. Management really needs to get a grip on staff training and make sure they have enough staff"

"Atmosphere: Sophisticated and chic but in a relaxed, casual and welcoming manner. Waitress and other staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Decor was bang on.Food: Fantastic weekday lunch consisting of:(i) Starter Smoked Pork Ribs which were delicious and literally fell off the bone as soon as you touched them.
