"I was with you yesterday to enjoy a piece of cake (Honey Wallnuss) and coffee (very lovely). My order was received by a very unfriendly, blonde, somewhat older lady. After that I wanted to write a bad review, but then my order was brought to me by a very friendly young lady (brown) with long black hair. It was an enormous difference between the waiters. One was slow, unfriendly and stressed, and the other was also stressed, yet fleeting, very friendly and she still has time for the customers and I took what I am really grateful."

"Lovely place. Lovely people. Lovely atmosphere. Lovely brunch. Nestled in a corner of Berlin, this place prides itself on its coffee and it shows; delicious, fresh-roasted blends, selected from the best sources. You won't want to stop at just the one. The food is excellent, flavourful, well-balanced, with fresh produce. I had the waffles, which left me pleasantly tingling and full, thanks to the fluffiness of the waffles, the crunchiness of the chickpeas, and the flavor of the chutney and herbs. That didn't stop me from trying my friends' food. The roasted aubergine is incredible, with a deep, smokey flavour, complimented by a vinaigrette and other roasted vegetables. The sardines (and I'm not usually a fan of fish) are wonderful, with a delicate taste that draws you in, complimented by capers, red cabbage, and poached eggs. But if we're talking of eggs, the Benedict eggs are a real star, in a peppercorn hollandaise and on a magnificent parmentier. Beyond the food, the place is visually appealing, with a pleasant industrial decor, very comfortable music and atmosphere, and the staff are incredible helpful. If you're in Berlin, do treat yourself to breakfast here."

"I've spent a lot of time in cafe's especially in the Kreuzkölln area Tischendorf is a MUST ! Not only is the food a combination of eggs (in various forms) but there's also birchers salads a daily special of veggies etc.. it's not just your standard brunch place you know the ones I mean. The cake selection was originally what gravitated me towards Tischendorf the cheese cake and the carrot cake are unreal. Seriously. Wow. There's always new artwork by local artists on the walls, a huge selection of reading material if you're like me and tend to get bored of hours on the laptop.. mind the laptop free Sunday's though ! All in all it's a lush place since moving back to the UK I really miss it. There seems to be a lack of calm yet comfy spots here.. surprisingly ! Do go and check it out have one of those cafe-hopping days.. the area is a personal favourite of mine, clothes shops bars traditional pubs bakeries foodie places and markets galore. Maybachufer is a hotspot. Trust."

"This coffee is a relatively common Einstein coffee. Anyone who knows the concept will not be surprised here either. The greatest advantage for me is the long opening hours. When all the other coffees hang, I have another coffee here. Since Einstein is a chain, the main advantage is that you know exactly what you get. The main disadvantage is that it is nothing special."

"Coffee is average, didn’t try other things. So, can’t judge the sandwich or cake etc. Staff not welcoming..they didn’t seem to like to talk ..it wasn’t that early though, 11 am on a Saturday. Not welcoming atmosphere anyway. Would I come back again? Probably for the chessboard.."
