"I love how this place has a bunch of vegan options. It’s rare to find good vegan dessert. This place serves fresh, hot and delicious desserts (mainly churros) but along with vegan hot chocolate and other drinks. The vegan ice cream sundae with Oreos is a definite must try."

"Nice cafe situated near Glebe library on Glebe Point Road. I had a soy cappuccino and Poached eggs with wilted spinach and relish. The coffee, made from single origin, was really well made the eggs poached to perfection. The staff were also really friendly too. Will definitely go back to try again!!"

"This place was great for helping with food allergies and altering dishes to suit. We really enjoyed the food so we came back a few times. The coffee was great too. It was easy to converse with the staff and owners. We also came here...to get some take away as snacks for during tours. I'd enjoy going again. Breakfast were great, but so was lunch."

"We came here last Saturday for a coffee with our doggies, so wanted to sit outside which was empty; it was before 10 am cold but were greeted with an abrupt enquiry from the owner as to whether we were eating or just having...coffee. When we said coffee , we were told firmly that we had a 20 minute limit as we want to turn over the tables! Not very welcoming, especially as we possibly would have considered eating or even having a few coffees before this demand. Or even the potential of returning for a meal. However, not with that attitude, especially as the cost of the a coffee a tea was $11, at least $2 more than in Balmain, where we usually go. Thinking that this was the usual price for Glebe cafes, we checked at The Valhalla over the road, surprise, surprise, not only were they much cheaper so were all the cafes along the strip , they were friendly offered a table without a time caveat. I did mention to the rude man in Esca that his prices were steep his attitude appalling, only to receive his dismissive reply well don 't come back! We don 't intend to.... more importantly for him, we will tell everyone about our experience. In these fraught times, I can understand people wanting to recoup lost income, but rudeness price gouging is not the way to do it...in fact positive word of mouth Tripadvisor reviews are surely the way to achieve this....neither of which he would get from us!"
