"Restaurant offers a pre-theatre menu. No food served until very late. Had to drop the desert as no time left before having to leave for the theatre. Created as stressful evening, which should have been a nice dinner before a show."

"The evening was completely ruined because we arrived to find the restaurant closed for a private party, despite having booked months ago and been sent a reminder by Open Table the day before. Open Table is a restaurant booking service booking us into one that was closed wasnât very helpful. The restaurant eventually seated us in the hotel lounge where we were told that the drinks would be free. After the meal (the food was ok, but not great) we found that we were being charged for the âfreeâ drinks. Having got those taken off the bill, the next problem (I know, itâs a long list) was that they couldnât find a working card machine. Five card machines later we had to run to catch a train, leaving number one daughter on her own to pay the bill for the (disastrous) meal that was supposed to celebrate her and her sisterâs birthdays. On the train I looked at the bill and found that (of course) service was included. Utter disaster from start to finish!"

"The food was very disappointing. Starter fish cakes were very small, taste loss and badly presented. Lamb shoulder for two £56 came with small slices of fat flatbread and two tiny Ramakins from Relishes. Monkfish Curry was small and tasteless, although the two small pieces were perfectly cooked by monks. Service was Haphazard and soul. Fantastic event, decoration and building can be done through the food and service, which is the whole point to go."
