"Three of us started then our son joined us later and the service was consistently awesome. Off peak for brunch. Everyone enjoyed their food. Egg on kaiser bun, Corned beef, Greek omelet, Crispy potatoes, The Fox (egg, burrito, greens, tomato) and french toast."

"Usually make a point not to make negative reviews but ordered a quesadilla and a veggie burrito. Filling was completely unseasoned, and looked like California medley frozen vegetables. Ambience of the restaurant is great but was very disappointedthis time around. Not worth the money spent."

"I have been going to the NISI since it’s now been raided. The owners are as sweet as their desserts. It’s a place that I go to eat good food and think about life. The atmosphere is so friendly, like home. "Always love this place! One of my favorite restaurants in the area, with lots of menu items to choose from and very affordable prices, that alone should make you want to come here. The service is always quick and courteous and the space and seating is always clean. I tried something different than my usual meals and was pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend to anyone in the area, they have everything from breakfast items and sandwiches to pasta and baked goods. TLDR; Some of my favorite dishes include: Chicken and waffles Corned beef hash and eggs over easy Chicken salad stuffed in avocado Grilled cheese and sweet potato fries"

"Old fashion lucheonette, the kind of place where it doesn’t take long for “ everybody knows your name.“ New York used to have one of these on every block but now they’re rare as a hen tooth. Where else in New York can I walk in and the waiter knows what I’m going to order? The best dishes are the ones that require a little preparation, especially good at the breakfast is with all the standards and, for what it’s worth, the best sausages I’ve had in many years. The neighborhood is blessed to have this place around and every year I worry is going to close and be replaced by a nail salona new pharmacy or a bar restaurant catering to 20-year-olds."
