"Mikados is my fav restaurant, the food is always amazing, best sushi in Edmonton. We wanted to show our friends great spot it is but sadly we didn’t have the best experience. We were sat and it took forever to get a server, my bf had to get to get someone. They finally brought us water, then our friend found something in her water, we asked them to replace it, they replaced the wrong one, so then we needed two new waters. The server finally came and took our orders, the food took forever to come out. My bfs meal came way before any of ours, so he waited for ours as his food got cold. Then the waiter brought our friends miso soups and dumped the whole thing on our friends lap. He felt really bad about it and was kind, grabbed napkins and paper towel right away. Accidents happen but I think our friend should’ve got his meal free on the house after that. The food was amazing, ambience was really nice but service wasn’t the best sadly. I’ll still go back because I love sushi but I am not sure if our friends will be back. They did love their chicken/beef teriyaki dishes as they come out sizzling hot."
