"A friend and I stumbled onto this great little find roaming around Chinatown. We went a little overboard and ordered the mango shaved ice with mango, minced pork rice, braised pork belly rice, black sticky rice in milk with mango, fresh water melon juice with tie guan yin tea along with peach and melon green tea. It was worth every calorie. Delicious .... The shaved mango was light, fluffy, sweet - melts in your mouth."

"Briefly, I visited last week at 11:45AM. Total dining room guest including me at that time 3. Server was extremely rude and disinterested. She decided to remove the menu from my table following my first kitchen order stating You know what 's on the munu Hmmm, was she afraid that I was going to steal the cardboard menu? Food; Thai Wings Completely over fried and dried to a crisp drizzled with a commercial grade sauce. Tom Yum Chicken Soup lukewarm vinegar. Phad Thai noodles incredibly bland pile of mush. Spicy Fish six incinerated sticks of batter. Interior inedible white strand. Chicken Fried Rice Bland. Bland. Bland fluff. Dessert offerings: Jello and Orange wedge. Yes, really I 've had tastier, smartly prepared food while visiting a Retirement Residence. Save your $24.00 plus tax plus tip. Go to a shopping mall food court for more satisfying Thai food."

"We were unfortunate enough to be staying at the Pantages Hotel. I booked a table thinking that it would be busy since there are only 8 tables or so. Wrong. There was only one occupied table and that was two loud and drunk businessmen which ruined the atmosphere. The menu was very limited. The waitress was rude and grumpy. The toilets, which were shared with Fran's restaurant next door were in serious need of a clean. I didn't even get a response when saying I had a reservation; the waitress/bar tender just swept her hand across the air and said "sit where you like". It was my husband's 40th birthday and this was an underwhelming meal. I can't even recall the quality of the food, which was delivered from another part of the hotel to the restaurant.Lacklustre service and atmosphere. Don't bother."

"The man standing at the front wasn't very friendly, which was kind of off putting, but the service at our table was amazing. We had Anna as our server and Romeo as our chef. The drinks kept coming and the food was awesome. The onion soup was good, the salad was just ok and definitely no complaints about our mains. My filet mignon was cooked perfectly. Banana crepe for dessert was the perfect happy ending to a great meal."

"It was somewhat smaller than what we had expected to find along a busy street decorated it seems with so many restaurants with culinary connections to foreign places. Variety of food selections seemed to be limited but plentifuI in one sense. Interior was white in color for the most part as we recall. I believe it is located on a corner or close to a corner west of Spadina. Subway stop is near by. We discovered this place three vacations ago in Toronto as we were walking west on Bloor after spending a day walking near the university campus area. We did order papaya and mango salad plus soup and chicken with a type of vegatable dish that was tasty. Some drink refils were free. Larger dishes with shrimp were available and we did try it them Ginger and garlic chicken were one of our favorite meals there. Service was polite and courteous. Prices were not too expensive for the most part but it does depend what you order Remember the value added tax. This is not Topeka or Duluth. Portions were adequate for the most part but the soup bowls could have been larger. Salads were well worth ordering again the second time. So were the garllic chicken and ginger chicken entrees. Atmosphere was simple but with cultural connection with the homeland it semed to me. These smaller places are well worth your time to explore for a variety of reasons jnot all of which have to do with what is a special item on the menu. We did not order what might be called dessert since we enjoyed the main dishes so much. I find that these smaller places sometimes are less crowded and quieter. Ask questions about the food and how it is prepared Guidelines about choosing healthy food should be available on the menu. But I do not to think that this is done in Canada as much as we might expect it to be. Information about the fat, salt and sodium content of the food should be available on the menu as well as some nutritional guidelines for these matters for the benefit of people with dietary restrictions. So much of the food we selected was fresh. All in all this restaurant is a good smaller restaurant that deserves your attention. Go there. Sample the food for lunch first. I do not know if reservations are made or taken. As for a scenic view I think not unless you like looking at traffic along Bloor Street. Tables were close to each other.to create what might seem to be a crowded space, but it does depend on how many people are occupying chairs at those tables at one time. I do not know about services for handicapped patrons but I do imagine that the are avaiable with accommodations. I just do not know about these regulations in Canada. For sure you shold go there for dinner if you were satisfied with lunch. Soft music was there to be heard. It was generally quiet and not crowded. Whether this area is know for its many good restaurants I do not know for sure but it should be The entire surrounding shopping areas seem to be geared for unversity related people. This is good! Not especially elaborate or extravagant interior. Concentrate on eating the food and you will be happy. So you are not paying for interior decorations. Take home a menu and study it."
