"Good service, fast. We called ahead and didn't have to wait. Update, we are quite regulars now since our kids love the endless Mac and cheese. Kate is our favorite waitress. The haystack tavern is the best value burger on the menu. Wednesday is kids night. Definitely call ahead for seating. We enjoy the patio here in season."

"We celebrated my husbands birthday at Strip last night. Everything from start to finish was excellent. Our server Anna D was outstanding and so personable. We were treated to some outstanding appetizers. Our steaks were perfection and our sides of lobster pasta and jambalaya were beyond delicious. We make several trips to Strip throughout the year, usually for special occasions and absolutely love it. I greatly appreciate the exceptional service and phenomenal food. Strip is one of the last restaurants that still cares and values their customers.and takes pride in what they do. We are already planning our next visit!! Thank you Ron and staff- truly a dinner we'll never forget!"

"This was a cool place we read the reviews on it before we got there. We drove about an hour to get there. When we walked in there was another couple there other than that we had the place to ourselves it was on Sunday around 1:00 p.m. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful.My wife got the Smoked Sammy with fries and mac and cheese and she said everything was great.I ordered a three meat combo consisting of brisket( which I paid extra for) a quarter slab of ribs( which I paid an additional for) and the hot sausage links. For my sides I got the baked beans and the brussel sprouts. The food taste wise was wonderful but it was so dried out I could barely eat it. I was very disappointed with the ribs and brisket. The only saving grace was the hot link sausage was good. The baked beans were undercooked I couldn't even eat them. The cornbread was phenomenal as were the barbecue sauces that I got to try. They were very good also. I might try it again just because I love barbecue but I was disappointed if I'm being honest"

"Very disappointing experience. Server forgot to put in the order for the sides. The server brought out our steaks and fish. He then announced that the sides would be out in 10 minutes. He said he forgot to put in the order. We began eating the steaks they were cold. When the server came back he was told the steaks were cold. He went on to explain that he should have told us since we ordered medium rare that they would be cooler than a steak cooked well. I absolutely understand the difference what was more surprising was he seemed to be condescending in his explanation. In reality, most steak houses pride themselves in their ability to sear the exterior of the steak at temperature in excess of 500 f. The searing would make the exterior of the steak hot while leaving the interior cooler. The server did offer to reheat the steaks. Then one of the managers came over and said he would take care of us. He did he didn’t charge for the sides, and presented a cake at the end of the meal for our trouble. Late sides do ruin the dining experience. The Strip is one of the higher end steak houses. You certainly expect better given their reputation and experience."

"The service and the food were excellent. My friend and I had the berries? Salad and we loved it. They were great and delicious. I appreciate the fact that the restaurant employs people with challenges. It is obvious that they take care of their jobs and they work hard to please the customers."

"This location is great, staff very helpful. However, be careful with head office and the rewards team. I had points earned over more than one year at several month gaps between visits but the rewards system yanked them ALL AT ONCE. Customer service claims that each point earned has its own expiry date. When I called them out on it, the customer service agent stopped replying. I lost my free burger I had warned and the rewards team have yet to fix the removed points in error. A good company will admit their errors and correct it; this company's head office customer service just hides when you bust them lying or making a mistake."
