"What can I say. We came for a late lunch so didn't get to try the smoker meats so had a go of the 'up in smoke' sandwich."

"We were apprehensive when we decided to go out of our way to try this place. The reviews on google weren’t great, and some were only 1-2 stars on Zomato. However, with an EatClub voucher, we drove 30mins to give this cozy restaurant a shot, and boy oh boy was it worth it. <br/ The waiter was extremely friendly, welcoming and patient, especially when we were still indecisive when ordering at the bar. <br/ We ordered Mac and cheese croquette, chips and carbonara fettuccine pasta to share between two. <br/ The entrees came promptly, piping HOT. The Parmesan cheese on the crispy and crunchy fries was everything we needed to kickstart our late lunch. The chips were perfectly seasoned with salt and cheese and it was just YUM. <br/ Mac and cheese, well, who doesn’t like Mac and cheese? Plus deep fried? Nuf said. <br/ <br/ Then came the pasta. We were starving so we completely forgot to take photos! The serving wasn’t large but wasn’t small either. My eyes are always bigger than my stomach so when it first came, I decided to order more after the pasta. But it was so so filling along with the entrees I didn’t get the chance to do so. <br/ The carbonara was creamy and flavoursome, with the bacon not overly salty and the fettuccine perfectly al dente. <br/ <br/ All in all, I started salivating just writing this again a day later. I would 100% go back and get the same things (or try something else! . They were faultless and delicious!"

"Went there on a Friday night had the bottomless dinner $25pp). Really enjoyed all the food that we ordered and our favourites were the fried chicken wings which comes with a really tasty savoury chili sauce and the chicken wings were well seasoned. Another favourite was the slow cooked pork belly which was flavourful and tender. For $25, the bottomless dinner was really value for money given the quality and variety of food that you can order. Will definitely recommend it! There is also happy hour during which you can order 2-for-1 cocktails. We ordered the Lychee Rose Daiquiri which was amazing!"

"I cannot express in words how satisfied I felt walking out of Merrywell, but here it goes! <br/ <br/ What I love how this place is that you can come by for casual drinks on a night out, and might I say that the have a rather impressive cocktail menu, or, you can even dine in for a special occasion. <br/ <br/ The took my partner here for dinner for his birthday. We ordered several entrees as we wanted to try a bit of everything, and in all honesty, the Asian fusion dishes sounded a lot more enticing! <br/ <br/ Highlight of my dining experience... It’s a hard one because I loved pretty much all of it <br/ Let’s start with the kimchi bolognese. I love that chef used slow cooked beef and not mince, and the spice from the kimchi gave it a nice kick. The name is bizarre but is a rather good concoction. <br/ <br/ Second. The larb rice paper roll. What a deliciously fresh dish perfect for summer. Being so used to having the regular Vietnamese ingredients that’s usually served in these rolls, it was a very nice to taste the Thai flavours in these rice paper rolls. The sticky rice, chicken and mint leaves with shredded coconut complimented so well with the sweet chilli sauce. <br/ <br/ Lastly! The mini steak sandwiches! The beef was cooked to perfection and remained tender in the buttered, toasted bread. Something so simple yet soooo delicious when all cooked just right <br/ <br/ If I could recommend a drink, it’d be the chilli lychee cocktail. It was sweet and hot, definitely a unique concoction that’s a must!<br/ <br/ Staff were lovely and attentive throughout. Would love to come here again that I actually have to stop myself. Would recommend this lovely, versatile place to anyone."

"As a massive fan of all thing BBQ and someone who's been smoking meat for a long time, I was really surprised to finally taste legitimate US style BBQ here in Australia. I stopped by with a good mate for a late lunch and ordered the combination platter with Ribs, Brisket, Sausage, and Chicken. Everything on the platter hit the mark. My mate, who also loves BBQ agreed it was extremely tastey. As an absolute stickler about smoked ribs, I was most impressed by the dry rubbed and presented ribs. The fact the the plate came with a hot and normal BBQ sauce meant you could sauce the ribs yourself and rather than the way so many restaurants present their awful basted 'fall of the bone' style cooked to death ribs. The brisket was also top notch. One thing I'm normally very biased about is sausages, I tend I ignore the US styles for our basic Aussie beef. However these smoked, almost chorizo style flavour were delicious. Lastly the chicken was also very impressive as someone who's cooked many on a smoker -great rub on it too. Coming from Sydney, I can't say I've been able to experience this level of BBQ there as yet, even at BBQ places such as Surly's, which comes across a tad try hard next to San Antone and nowhere near as tasty. Also, the margaritas are excellent. American beer, totally authentic if that's your thing -personally I'd like a few more local options as I've never really for American beer much."

"I've been seeing alot of foodies posting food from this place so decided to check it out. The menu is quite extensive and has some Asian influence as the chefs are Indonesian and Thai. I like the minimal decor at this place. Service is pretty good. All the staff are attentive and you are greeted as soon as you walk in, however I felt that it was lacking the vibe. The coffee and chai was really nice. Foodwise, we had the Pandan panna cotta and the Avo toast. Both dishes were very nicely presented. The highlight for me was the panna cotta. It was creamy and light and the pistachio nuts with citrus truffle honey on the avo toast was delicious."
