"What can I say about Joey D’s would not sound like I had an investment in the place. The owners are the best guys ever. If something is not righf, do not say it first to others, tell them they will do it then and there. Ask Tommy, Bobby and the manager. The food starting with the appetizers of Mac and Cheese Biss you have to order more, they are discarded. The beer is ice-cold and drinks are diverse. The pizza, my favorite is Joey D’s favorite, is as good my mouth is water as I write it. The Chicago Dogs and Italian Beef will think you are in town and pasta as in your mom's kitchen as long as your mother came from Italy. Make your taste buds a favor tonight and visit one of 4 Joey D sites and tell them Jake of The Florida Blues Brothers sent me. I'll meet you there."

"We came here for Father's Day this year for lunch and it was fantastic we've been to now all three Oak Stones , St Pete, University and now this one and I can say all three are consistently fantastic .Love the pizza and the dough is out of this world . Our favorites are always getting one classic cheese, one fun guy and a big salad and splitting it between the three of us . The beer wall is just an extra treat .We had so so much fun we're definitely coming back . loved our waitress that day to. thank you"

"From the door being opened for us, to the moment we walked out, the experience at State Street was celestial. The libations were on point and I thoroughly enjoyed two orders of the Holla Peña, it had a wicked nice kick! Their fresh, homemade bread was excellent and served with a nice side of salted butter. My date took the special. The filet with the dauphine pommes and enjoyed it very much. She couldn’t stop smiling. I had the Pork Ragu and I’ll say…it is something I’ll fantasize about for sometime to come. LOL It was CHOICE. Our server Connor was so polite, timely, knew how to read cues and overall made it the best experience out dining in a while. It’s all how you take care of patrons with pacing and knowing your menu. He also had some friendly recommendations for the rest of our date and couldn’t have asked for better time. We will be back."
