"Super nice staff. Food is always great. Unfortunately they changed the cheese wedges a while back and not for the better. They were sooooo good but no longer. We always ordered them....20+ years. We no longer order them. Why change such a great appetizer?"

"Started with wine being served in a dirty glass. Sent that back. Sat down at 6:30. Appetizers didn’t come out until 7:15 after being told the kitchen was backed up. We had ordered our dinner at the same time. By 745 I went to the manager. At 750 our server told us our dinner was 2 minutes away. At 8:00 it was served in shifts. All the food was cold, dry and not edible. When the manager came over to us he said “I was thrown to the wolves”. Completely inappropriate. Do not go!"

"Came at dinner and it was packed, so the wait for food was pretty long. Got the Mac Attack and fried okra. The sandwich was exceptional bbq pulled pork and macaroni and cheese on sourdough. The fried okra wasn’t house made so it was just ok. My friend got the wings and enjoyed them too! We’ll definitely be back!"

"Wonderful atmosphere and food heaven! The food was fresh and so delicious! The waitress was polite and not pushy. The gentleman cooking steak was also helpful when requested rare steak. Hands down the best buffet experience ever! I would say they are theBEST buffet around!"

"Like most chains, Shoneys is Shoneys. It all comes down to the local staff. In general, I've been pleased with Shoneys. It's not Mom's cooking, but it's good. My first visit to this location, I was very impressed. The lady taking care of the buffet did an exceptional job of keeping it clean and the food fresh. I was particularly impressed with the macaroni and cheese.. best I've ever had at any Shoneys."

"Trying Love that BBQ was a spur of the moment decision and we are so happy we did. The owner was so personable and the food was delicious. We both had BBQ sandwiches, beans, coleslaw, and macaroni and cheese. Honestly, the portions could have been smaller and I would have been satisfied. I had the red velvet cake for dessert which was also very tasty. Oh, don 't forget to try the hush puppies!"

"As soon as I stepped foot in this establishment, I was greeted with not only the warm aroma of fried chicken but also an intimate massage from the greeter. A meal swipe gets you so much nowadays! Anyway, I need you to understand that my hunger unleashed a primal aggression that had been long chained and subdued. Only a delicious Aramark prepared frozen meal could save Knoxville from utter devastation. Southern Kitchen is not just a home but a hero. Not like Iron Man, more like Hawkeye after he gives up on his life’s ambitions in a deep depressive episode, but a hero nonetheless. Alas, if I had to pick a last meal, it would be Southern Kitchen."
