"We ate here about a week ago. We got the meatloaf, chicken taco, pork taco, and the steak taco. We also got two guava empanadas and a pressed pulled pork sandwich. This food was actually really good. We weren?t sure what to expect but everything was great. The flavors were super spot on. The meatloaf has a really good kick and it makes you keep going back for that next fork full. I paired it with their own homemade version of macaroni salad which was delicious. Would definitely say that this place makes an awesome lunch/dinner and it?s definitely something a little different."

"The only reason I give 4 's is because you can 't improve on a 5. Everything can be improved but it 's hard to be critical of Tad 's Deli. The limited indoor seating was not an issue on a Wednesday afternoon in December. Had it been busy, we would have happily taken our meal out. The staff was cheerful and efficient, following up on our needs and the quality of our meals. Three of our party of four chose the box lunch which includes a sandwich, side (chips, macaroni salad, or potato salad), a bottled drink, and a cookie. The fourth chose to have a cup of soup as a side, forgoing the chips and cookie. The sandwiches were generously filled and the bread was soft and fresh. Meats had been sliced thin and complemented with the right amount of condiments. These are not your chain store sandwiches with an excess of bread and sauce. The soup (chicken with rice) was delicious and properly seasoned. The cookies were home made ; obviously prepared in house. You should definitely leave the beach and visit Tad 's for an excellent meal. Meals: Roast beef french dip topped with provolone, vinegar and salt chips, water, and a red velvet cookie Cubano, sliced ham and pork with provolone pickle and mustard, sirrachra chips, black cherry soda, and red velvet cookie. Ham and Swiss cheese with macaroni salad, cream soda and red velvet cookie Tuna salad on sour dough, chicken and rice soup, and cream soda."

"I tried the short ribs, it was kind of pricey for $20 after taxes, but it sure was delicious. There was also a large portion of the ribs. It came with a white flat vegetable that tasted similar to edamame which I enjoyed, but not sure what veggie it was, the rice was ok, the mashed potato’s taste like the fake instant potato’s that fast food sells. Next time I’ll have to try their other side choices. Can’t wait to try more. Came with extra sauce, more then I could need but that’s a good thing. Easy take out, not much room inside to eat."

"Yellowfin tuna burger was bland because there was no sauce on it so had to drive back to get sauce. There was also barely any lettuce on it. They were nice to give me a side free of charge but disappointing that for a burger they forgot the sauce. Also the cole slaw had a really weird smell and wasn’t taste wise great, also didn’t look like well made cole slaw (no sauce) so decided not to eat. Unfortunately sometimes can’t trust everyone’s reviews."
