"Anniversary lunch menu was perfect. Great how the place has kept pace with the various changes in dining expectations.. Good to see the customary 3 course set menu with choices) back. Annoyingly for the kitchen we only had 100 minutes at table due to a must not miss hospital appointment but they succeeded with time to spare. Simpson’s remains a jewel in Birmingham’s dining crown."

"Having descended on Miss Macaroon's yesterday (Saturday 14/09/19) with 3 friends, Garnet gave us fantastic customer service; he really knew about the products and showed us the various offers available. We sat in to have a bottle of prosecco and one of each macaroon on offer. It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere as we sampled the flavours. The chocolate raspberry macaroon didn't look very appealing with the brown and pink combination but it was a perfect balance between the two flavours which complemented each other. The lemon macaroon was like an explosion of lemon curd; there was an initial sharp kick then a smooth sweetness. This gem should be on everyone's radar. Nestled in a beautiful shopping arcade in the centre of Birmingham it provides a valuable contribution to local needs."

"Noticed this stall as we were walking through Grand Central. The lady serving us was very pleasant and explained to us what everything was as we were unsure. We had a rum and raisin which although didn't much like the supposed flavour it still tasted great, very filling too! Would definitely pop here again if passing through Grand Central, it's good value for money too!"
