"The location is perfect for gymnasiasten over midday. to part you wait very long, as it usually has only one/two services. the foccacias are delicious, but since they are frozen only warmed up, it is nothing special. the glace is very tasty."

"The Berta Bar in located across the street from Idaplatz and can be accessed with public transit (Tram #2/#3 Lochergut, Bus #72). I stopped by this small, friendly, cozy bar in the early evening, so Idaplatz was not too busy with families at this time...and the construction going on in the street in front of the bar was winding down. Inside the Berta Bar is a bar with several stools, some tables, and padded seating with tables and chairs. The sidewalk seating consists of about four round tables and three long picnic benches. I tried an Orion beer from the tap and after my first sip the bartender asked if the beer was okay and it was indeed. They also offer some light snacks for purchase as well. The beer was refreshing, the bartender was nice and the restrooms were clean. I would visit again."

"Das Nomadenfrühstück am Samstagmorgen lohnt eine Reise ins Seefeld - wer das etwas andere Frühstück sucht wird nicht enttäuscht. Wunderschön dargereicht in einem stimmungsvollen Ambiente. Die sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitenden sind eine Freude und verloren selbst bei meiner etwas eigenwilligen Begleitung die Geduld nicht. Danke es war einmal mehr erholsam und der Aufenthalt vermittelt ein wenig den Duft der weiten Welt."

"Caffe Handelshof is a beautiful café on a lively section of Urania Street with a lot of negligent traffic. You have table tables, but this would not be my first choice of seats due to traffic. Inside there are small round tables and padded seats as well as large tables and padded chairs. The young lady who worked behind the counter was very nice when she came to my table with a big good morning smile to take my order. I ordered a hot chocolate (5CHF) that came with a small glass of water and a piece of chocolate. The hot chocolate was very good and warmed my body on a cool morning. On the menu there are also sandwiches, snacks, piadina, toast, salads, breads, pastries, yogurt, juice, fresh fruit, hot/cold drinks, cocktails and much more. They have many newspapers and magazines for guests and a wall-mounted TV in the background."

"Des prix zurichois (26 francs un latte macchiato, une bière et une part de gâteau au chocolat) mais un endroit plutôt accueillant.Des livres sont à disposition des enfants, l'espace est suffisamment bien agencé pour ne pas avoir l'impression d'envahir les lieux en arrivant à 6 avec une poussette double, les parties communes sont classes et propres...Il ne manquait plus qu'une table à langer!"

"Not much to look at from the outside, but step inside and a tastefully decorated very pleasant and welcoming restaurant awaits you. Food is good to very good, staff are friendly. I ate here a few times and it's always a pleasant affair."

"Very modern, yet cozy place to grab a bite, drink excellent coffee, have a homemade tiramisu or enjoy the best Italian ice cream in Switzerland. The flavours of gelati are amazing. Ambiance is great. There are places to sit both inside and outside. It's definitely my number one for zvieri/ merenda in the Zurich area."
