"Hit and miss. We had a great meal there one night, went back four days later and it was atrocious. Service on the visit was so bad we eventually gave up trying to order anything else, paid and left. A shame as it’s situated in a beautiful location and the food which we actually got was good."

"Everything was excellent, from the ambience to the service to the food. The garlic bread is delicious, and I had lion fish which I had never tried before but was so delicious. For dessert, we had the chocolates which hit the spot. Highly recommend. We’ll be back next time we are in Cozumel"

"Our server was so nice and great to talk to, the drinks were amazing (including an espresso martini that actually had coffee in it), and the food was excellent. Best salmon I have ever had in a restaurant, and the wife’s burger was amazing with truly incredible truffle fries. Only gripe is the club music kind of brought the vibe in a weird direction."

"Always excellent. Fernando’s an Ricardo did an excellent job serving. Seating is always tight, although we got a great table beside the window (32). Wine selection superb. My wife as always fell in love with the profiteroles. The smoked salmon and raw fish appetizer were great. The lazagnete was very good , need to pair with a robust wine. They held our open table reservation as expected , although the place was full. Totally recommend reservations in advance."

"My fiancé and I decided to try our Toro Loco for the first time last weekend and honestly, it'll be our last. We almost thought we were missing something or that it might have been a QR ordering system since it took almost 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge our table. I'd understand if it was busy, but there was about 3 other tables in the entire establishment, yet enough staff standing around at the hostess area on their phones. We started off with the guac- to begin with, you could tell that it wasn't fresh. Brown around the edges, watery mush texture, and was as if a box of salt had been dumped in. We next ordered a bunch of small plates to share. We were recommended these potato and cheese stuffed things- flavorless and bland with an odd sauce that was just again too salty. The tajin shrimp dish we ordered was rubbery and overly seasoned yet again. We ordered the Mexico City quesadilla and it came out smothered so much in an aioli sauce, that it was inedible. The street corn, I will say was one dish we liked. Tacos were nothing to rave about. The carne asada was chewy and mainly all fat. Drinks, were mediocre at best. The margaritas tasted like a sour juice. Lastly, but most importantly. The place is just dirty. The bathrooms reek of septic and were covered with an over flowing trash can,all of our water glasses had marks all over them, the table and booth seats were covered in crumbs. We were never checked in on other than when things were just dropped at our table. Never asked if we wanted another drink. The place seems like it is lacking any sense of management."
