"A beautiful restaurant in quiet street opposite the beautiful episcopal church . very small almost too small wine card for a French restaurant . here the bandol can be recommended. the dishes are unusual and taste very good. the price performance is correct. we're coming back!"

"We chose this restaurant based on the tripadvisor reviews. For the most part, our experience lived up to them. We shared a goat's cheese salad which was incredibly good - the cheese was warm on the outside and soft on the inside, paired perfectly with a simply salad of lettuce, tomato and balsamic dressing. My husband had the 1/2 chicken which was also great - I tried some and it was moist and flavoursome.The reason I couldn't give the restaurant five stars was my main. I had the tagliatelle with pesto. Bad choice. The pasta felt dry and the pesto was so salty that I couldn't eat much at all. I barely ate 1/4 of the dish and was going to explain to the waitress what the problem was, but she wasn't interested in why I hadn't eaten much of it. She whisked it all away at the end of the meal without asking how it all was. I was a little upset by this and walked away disappointed as it was our last night in Nice. At least I was able to have some delicious gelato (elsewhere) for dessert.Overall, apart from my meal the food was good. The service was superficially pleasant but I didn't feel any attempt to connect with us."

"We were staying in Nice as we were going to Monaco Grand Prix. My son and i found this little restaurant down a side street with tables outside. There is a limited Italian menu but a very large wine list. Only two choices of beer though. Service was very quick with unlimited water and bread being brought regularly by a very friendly waiter.. I had the fried seafood plate which was cooked if a little salty. My son had the lasagne which was plentiful.."

"Very nice little spot slightly away from the beaten track but still with a crowd and very pleasant. Service is excellent, so is the wine and the food. Ordered a really good beef tartar, but saw others ordering the burgers looked really good. I would definitely recommend this place."

"We went there to taste many varieties of wine, but there was only 4 blancs, 4 rouge. Even per glass wine prize was 8EUR for average wine. We ordered duck and beef. Duck was ok, but beef was very average and kind like round steak."
