"We last visited Le Matin about 2 years ago and really enjoyed our lunch there.So we headed back there during a short stopover in Paris and the banner hanging over their awning stating new owners had us a little concerned that the quality had changed, but we needn't have worried.We asked the new owner how long he had been the proprietor (2 weeks) and whether the same chef was there (he was).We arrived just before noon and managed to snap up a table right at the front just inside the door so had a great view over the passing parade without having to worry about smokers or traffic. Within 15 minutes the place was full of local office workers some of whom, quite rightly, got their orders just ahead of ours, the owner realising we were there for a long lunch whilst the workers had time restraints.We ordered the lunchtime menu from the blackboard, my wife having the pork chops and I took the fish.Well we both reckoned it was one of the best meals we had eaten this trip. My fish in particular had been steamed somehow in butter and was absolutely delicious and the pork too was grilled to perfection with those lovely small roast potatoes that seem to be a French speciality. Both dishes had a little pot of dressing based on blue cheese... yum!We finished with creme brulee and creme caramel, both delicious, and the total including 2 beers and a small pitcher of white wine came to just E36.So we agreed that the place is even better with the new owner."

"Ran by chance at the establishment, the welcome is friendly and the person who served me was adorable. To be simple, I enjoyed myself. The products are fresh and of quality. I took the menu at 15€ and the Vietnamese crêpe was very good damage that there was no second lol then the ga-bun beef was a murder. I'll come back without hesitation when I come back to Paris."

"Je l'ai découvert par hasard dès son ouverture, et je continue à y aller dès que je suis dans le quartier.Tout est fait maison avec de très bons produits, plusieurs choix qui changent régulièrement.De plus le personnel est très accueillant, le lieu est chaleureux et surtout rapport qualité prix top (environ 10€ le bol) pour un repas frais et équilibré.Je recommande vivement!!!"

"Lunch Thursday 20/7. warm welcome and explanations. very good dishes, original, aesthetics. All right. an excellent alternative to anything else you see. an Indian influence for original dishes, for all tastes. It's the boss who cooks and prepares his dishes on the spot. 4 choices for admissions, as much for dishes and desserts. And I realized it was changing every day. I really recommend you go."
