"During our stay, we passed this establishment so many times, often looking down onto the dining area thinking it looked lovely, we decided to give it a try. As I had eaten alot of seafood which I enjoy) I decided a nice steak would be in order to round out the meals for our stay. I ended up ordering the 800g t-bone and my wife ordered the BBQ ribs. Whilst waiting for our meals we kept seeing plate after plate of mountain sized portions arriving at other tables. We enjoyed seeing the wide eyes looks of many people, when their food arrived and could easily guese as to what they were thinking. To start we had the garlic roll, which was wonderfully. Satisfyingly crusty/crunchy on the outside but warm and fluffy on the inside, with a good mix of garlic butter in the middle. Went perfect with the little pot of sour cream. Next up was the mains and even though I'm a heathenius bugger who asked for his steak well cooked something I joked around with the waiter about), I had an inkling that due to the size/thickness of the t-bone, it would come out pink, just the way I like it, can't do bloodied. I have to say, it was a damn fine steak, cooked to perfection and I dug into that hunk of meat like a caveman. My wife ordered the ribs, even though she said it was very tasty and although made a good attempt, couldn't finish. The bill was average for the area and slightly higher than some places we had been too, not by much mind. Maybe 10euros or so all told for the final bill but definitely not as expensive as some places. I paid 32euros for my t-bone, whilst others were charging 50 to 90 Euro's. Depending on where you ate. We found the staff friendly, the atmosphere enjoyable and with bellies full, we left feeling satisfied and having a good meal and a pleasant evening. Would recommend this place definitely as somewhere to stop for a satisfying meal for someone with a big appetite."
