"We dined at Tandoor Grill while staying overnight at the Stanford Inn in Fernie, BC. The Manager, Manav, personally looked after us as it was early and the restaurant was not busy. He was a pleasure to deal with and explained the menu highlighting the special meals. The menu was extensive with East Indian food the specialty but it included many regular food fare. We were in the mood for pizza and ordered a pepperoni and mushroom. The pizza was delicious and had a homemade flavor that resulted in us devouring everything even the crust. The cook even came to our table to make sure we enjoyed the pizza. The extra attention and service really made us feel appreciated as customers. The restaurant itself has a very spacious and decorative appearance with a high ceiling and lots of room between tables. We will definitely be back when we pass through Fernie again."

"The food and service were incredible! We had bruschetta (best ever , a couple of different pastas (the noodles are hand made! and the chocolate nemesis (beautiful, rich flourless chocolate cake with a berry coulis and Chantilly cream and citrus crème brulée (creamy, citrusy, and with a perfect caramelized top . All delicious! Friendly staff too. Good Covid protocols followed."

"We were travelling through Fernie and were looking for a spot for a light meal. Saw Navado (Luchadora) on the web and decided to check it out. The burritos were so tasty, the hot sauce was an extra but it provided an extra level...of heat, and the mango margherita was delish. Just loved the outdoor patio very unique."

"Was so excited to go to this place and was very let down when I walked in. Was expecting to see lots of handmade chocolates but all they had to offer was a few choices of their hand made candy bars a a couple of different truffles. Bought a couple of bars back as gifts and no one was overly impressed with them. Not for $8 a bar anyway. I would have rather gone into Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for their selection and great chocolates."

"Great gelato! The coconut mango is a great vegan option. I had the brownies gelato and loved it. Their chocolate is exceptional but a bit pricey (around $10 for a single bar). That being said, it is world famous quality. Would be nice if they had some samples for the chocolate."
