"Having been living in Kannapolis since 2007 I am very familiar with the quality of El Amigo, however, after todays dinner I can assure you that the quality has significantly degraded. When ordering to go in the past they packaged meals in an aluminum container with a plastic lid. This is vital to excellent Mexican food as it quickly becomes cold and compromises it?s taste, as it has today. Additionally, when ordering a California burrito and asking for the guac on the side 3 times on the phone emphasizing the point, they completely forgot to provide the side of quac. The chips are from a different distributor of less quality in addition to them being cold. The salsa has too much jalapeño, I am very familiar with the usual taste. Thanks El Amigo for making my dog Dakota enjoy her dinner."

"I missed Cuban sandwiches since the move to the area, so I definitely enjoyed this visit. The staff was friendly and fast and the food was delicious. I will definitely go back to try other menu items"
