"One of the best places in North Goa to feast on South Indian Cuisine. The ambience of Gunpowder itself makes it worth the visit. Set up in a cozy rustic manner with soft lighting. The mango panna cotta should not be skipped. I always planned my meals keeping that in mind. They even have some interesting talks and film screening during peak season time."

"The food items were tasty. I had buns after a long time and it was very nice. One thing which was very disappointed from this hotel was they charged for extra chutney's. We ordered around 5-6 cups and had to shell out 50Rs more. I don't see south Indian hotels charge for extra. They provide chutney or sambar for free and but this hotel makes huge money from this.When I argued with cashier on this, he says due to price hike of food items they are charging. This is totally a non sense and it a good way of make money. I told him that no hotels in south India do this but he started insisting on this. Since it is in tourist place, he thinks everyone pay for extra items. This is totally a loot. :-( I thought it is waste of time in talking to dump guy, paid the money and walked away."
