"Beatifull rich coffe in the middle of the town. I can say that was one of the best coffees I had in New Zealand. Haven't tried the food but looks delicious too."

"Four of us dined at the Laughing Buddha last Friday night. It was my husband's and my first time dining there.We were impressed with the friendly service and the food.The food price's were very reasonable.I had the sizzling beef with black bean sauce(it was yummy) my husband had the sweet and sour pork(cooked to perfection-not dry). We will be back in the near future."

"I come in semi-regularly for either a $6 pack, or a scoop of chips or wedges. The people are very nice, but occasionally the language barrier gets in the way. The quality of the food I order has always been very good. Since the unexpected change of ownership a few months ago, the earlier closing time of 9pm means I have to call ahead if I leave work later. I still highly recommend this place."
