"The Saltwater Grill has been a Galveston staple for some time. I was encouraged that the menu has been updated with new items, while preserving some of their best offerings - I swear the Shanghai Delight is laced with Prozac because I'm always happy when I eat it. This time I tried one of their new "naked" offerings, hoping the fish would be allowed to shine. I had the grilled redfish, which was done perfectly - the very thin edges were a little crisp and carmelized but the fish was still moist and flavorful. I did miss the bread - this was one of the few restaurants in town that started with something with substance, so I was quite disappointed when a little crock of crackers appeared instead of bread. The restaurant is very noisy - I was ok hearing my companions but certainly couldn't hear the server well."

"OMG! This place is the deal! This is 100% purely authentic Italian! My mom is Italian! My husband and I were there last night after a day at Busch Gardens. We had the calamari, eggplant parmesan, chicken cacciatore and tiramisu. The Best!!! The tiramisu is the same my mother makes! I will make this a must go-to place every time we visit Williamsburg! Friendly staff too! Thanks for the great food! Simply AMAZING!!!"
